ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെ 'പൂച്ച-കുടുബ കോടതി':
പ്രണയം, പുകിൽ, പിന്നെ പോലീസും!
ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെ തിരക്കേറിയ ഐടി ജീവിതത്തിനിടയിൽ ശേഷാദ്രിപുരത്ത് നടന്ന ഈ സംഭവം ഏതൊരു സിനിമയേക്കാളും ട്വിസ്റ്റുകൾ നിറഞ്ഞതാണ്. വെറുമൊരു പൂച്ചക്കലഹമായി തുടങ്ങിയത് ഒടുവിൽ ആസിഡ് ആക്രമണ ഭീഷണിയിലും പോലീസ് കേസിലുമാണ് അവസാനിച്ചത്.
കഥയിലെ നായകനും നായികയും
അയൽപക്കത്തെ വീട്ടിലെ സുന്ദരൻ പൂച്ചയും ഈ വീട്ടിലെ പെൺപൂച്ചയും തമ്മിലുണ്ടായ 'അവിഹിത പ്രണയം' ആണ് എല്ലാത്തിനും തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചത്. ഫലം: നാല് കുഞ്ഞൻ പൂച്ചക്കുട്ടികൾ!
ചൈൽഡ് സപ്പോർട്ട് എന്ന വിചിത്ര ആവശ്യം
പെൺപൂച്ചയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥയുടെ വാദം കേട്ട് പോലീസുകാർ പോലും ഞെട്ടിപ്പോയി. "നിന്റെ പൂച്ച കാരണമാണ് എന്റെ പൂച്ച പ്രസവിച്ചത്. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഈ നാല് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും വളർത്തേണ്ട ചിലവും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തവും നിനക്കാണ്!" എന്നായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ഡിമാൻഡ്. മനുഷ്യർക്കിടയിൽ കേട്ടുപരിചയമുള്ള 'ചൈൽഡ് സപ്പോർട്ട്' സിസ്റ്റം പൂച്ചകളിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കാൻ അവർ ശ്രമിച്ചു.
അക്രമവും ആസിഡ് ഭീഷണിയും
തർക്കം മുറുകിയതോടെ പെൺപൂച്ചയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥ പൂച്ചക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ എടുത്ത് അയൽക്കാരന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് എറിഞ്ഞു. വർത്തമാനം കയ്യാങ്കളിയായി. ഇതിനിടയിൽ അയൽക്കാരന്റെ കുട്ടിയുടെ മേൽ ആസിഡ് ഒഴിക്കുമെന്ന ഭീഷണി കൂടി ഉണ്ടായതോടെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ കൈവിട്ടുപോയി. ഉടനെ തന്നെ 112 എന്ന നമ്പറിൽ പോലീസിനെ വിളിച്ചു.
പോലീസിന്റെ വിധി
ശേഷാദ്രിപുരം പോലീസ് എത്തി രണ്ടു കൂട്ടരെയും സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടി. പൂച്ചയുടെ പേരിൽ ഇത്രയും വലിയ പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതിന് അവർക്ക് നല്ല ഡോസ് നൽകി. ഒടുവിൽ ഒരു ധാരണയായി: പൂച്ചക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ രണ്ട് വീട്ടിലും നിർത്തണ്ട, പകരം മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും ഒരു വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മാറ്റാം.

ഈ അടിപിടിയും പോലീസ് സൈറണും ഭീഷണികളും ഒക്കെ നടക്കുമ്പോൾ നമ്മുടെ അച്ഛൻ പൂച്ച എവിടെയായിരുന്നു എന്നറിയാമോ? ഒരു മൂലയിൽ യാതൊരു ഭാവമാറ്റവുമില്ലാതെ, "ഇവരൊക്കെ എന്തിനാ ഇങ്ങനെ കിടന്ന് തല്ലുകൂടുന്നത്?" എന്ന ഭാവത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു കക്ഷി!
ഏകദേശം നാൽപ്പത് വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് തൃശൂർ മതിലകത്തിനടുത്ത് പുതിയകാവിൽ സമാനമായ സംഭവം നായകളുടെ വിഷയത്തിൽ സംഭവിച്ചതും വര്ഷങ്ങളോളം അയൽവാസികൾ രണ്ടുപേരും കോടതി കയറിയിറങ്ങിയത് ഓർമ്മയിൽ വരുന്നു ..

Child Support & Feline Feuds
This isn't just a funny internet story; it's a bizarre case of pet ownership gone wrong in Seshadripuram, Bengaluru.
The Trigger: A neighbor's male cat impregnated the female cat next door. When four kittens were born, the owner of the female cat demanded that the neighbor take full responsibility for them. She essentially asked for "feline child support," arguing that the neighbor’s pet was the "aggressor."
The Escalation: In a fit of rage, the female cat’s owner allegedly carried the kittens to the neighbor’s doorstep and threw one toward their house. The verbal fight escalated into a scary threat—an acid attack on the neighbor’s child. This prompted an emergency call to the police (112).
The Police Mediation: Seshadripuram police had to step in as "family counselors." They warned both families that violence over a domestic pet issue is a serious crime. They reached a compromise: the kittens would be relocated to a neutral third party to prevent further violence.
The "Observer": Throughout the screaming and the police investigation, the father cat sat silently in a corner, watching the humans self-destruct over his offspring with a look of pure indifference.
"We recall a similar incident involving dogs that happened about forty years ago in Puthiyakavu, near Mathilakam in Thrissur. In that case, both neighbors ended up frequenting the courts for many years over the matter."

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಪುರಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಈಗ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
೧. ಘಟನೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ: ಪಕ್ಕದ ಮನೆಯ ಗಂಡು ಬೆಕ್ಕು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಬೆಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಿಟ್ಟಾದ ಮಾಲೀಕರು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮರಿಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ನಂತರ ನೆರೆಯವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. "ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಕೋ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನಿಮ್ಮದೇ" ಎಂದು 'ಚೈಲ್ಡ್ ಸಪೋರ್ಟ್' ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ!
೨. ವಿಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದ ಜಗಳ: ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಭರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಕ್ಕಿನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಕದ ಮನೆಯವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎಸೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಗಳ ಎಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಯಿತೆಂದರೆ, ಮಾಲೀಕರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಆಸಿಡ್ ಹಾಕುವ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಗುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಸಿಡ್ ಹಾಕುವ ಮಾತು ಬಂದಾಗ ಹೆದರಿದ ನೆರೆಯವರು ೧೧೨ ಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದರು.
೩. ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ: ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಪುರಂ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಎರಡೂ ಕಡೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ದತ್ತು ನೀಡಲು ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
೪. ಆ ಗಂಡು ಬೆಕ್ಕಿನ ನಿರುಮ್ಮಳ ನೋಟ: ಮನೆಮಂದಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಿತ್ತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂದು ಬೆದರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಗಂಡು ಬೆಕ್ಕು ಮಾತ್ರ ಒಂದು ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಕುಳಿತು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ "ನನಗೂ ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲ" ಎಂಬಂತಹ ಭಾವವಿತ್ತು!
