കേരളത്തിലെ ദേവസ്വം-സഹകരണ-തുറമുഖ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വി.എൻ. വാസവനെതിരെ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ആരോപണങ്ങൾ അഴിമതിയുടെ സകല പരിധികളും ലംഘിക്കുന്നതാണ്. സഹകരണ ബാങ്കിന്റെ സോഫ്ട്വെയർ ഡീലിൽ ആദ്യം ടാറ്റ കൺസൾട്ടൻസിക്ക് തീരുമാനിക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് നാലിരട്ടി തുകക്ക് കണ്ണൂരിലെ ദിനേശ് ബീഡി സഹകരണസംഘത്തിന് വഴിവിട്ട് കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു എന്നാണ് ആരോപണം . അതിന്നായി കണ്ണൂരിലെ രണ്ടു കമ്പനികളെ മാത്രം ക്ഷണിച്ചായിരുന്നു കളികൾ . സാധാരണക്കാരുടെ വിയർപ്പിന്റെ ഫലമായ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങൾ കൊള്ളയടിച്ച് '700 കോടി ക്ലബ്ബിൽ' ഇടംപിടിച്ച മന്ത്രിക്ക് പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കാൻ അർഹതയില്ല. ഇതിനു പുറമെ വിഴിഞ്ഞം തുറമുഖത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ കൈപ്പറ്റിയ ഫണ്ടുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട മറ്റൊരു കേസും പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നു എന്നത് അഴിമതിയുടെ ആഴം വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.
