സിപിഎം എല്ലാ പരിപ്പുകളും വേവിച്ചിട്ടും ഏൽക്കാതെ വന്നപ്പോൾ പാർട്ടി കേവലം രണ്ടുപേരിലേക്കായി ചുരുങ്ങി . പോളിങ്ങിന് ഒരു നാൾ മാത്രം ബാക്കി നിൽക്കെ സിപിഎം പാർട്ടിയെ എല്ലാവരും നടുറോട്ടിൽ ഇട്ടോണ്ട് പോയപ്പോൾ 81 വയസ്സായ പിണറായി വിജയനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യ ശത്രുവായിരുന്ന മേബി രാഘവന്റെ തട്ടിപ്പ് മകൻ നികേഷ് കുമാറും മാത്രമായി പാർട്ടിക്കുവേണ്ടി ഇപ്പോൾ രംഗത്തുള്ളത് . രണ്ടുപേരെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഇതൊരു ജീവന്മരണ പോരാട്ടമാണ് . ഏത് വിധേനയും ജയിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ജീവിതം വല്ലാത്ത പ്രയാസത്തിലാകുന്ന രണ്ടു പേർ മാത്രമായി പാർട്ടി ചുരുങ്ങി . കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരൊറ്റ പരസ്യ ഹോർഡിങ്ങുകളിലും ഘടകകക്ഷി നേതാക്കളോ , മറ്റുള്ള നേതാക്കളോ , എന്തിനധികം പാർട്ടിയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ചിഹ്നവും നിറവും ഒഴിവാക്കിയാണ് ഇവർ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങുന്നത്.

'പത്തുലക്ഷത്തിനു നന്ദി . ഒരു പതിനായിരം ആ ബാങ്കിലുണ്ട് . അത് നീ എടുത്തു പോയി ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേറും കള്ളടിച്ചു കിടന്നു ഉറങ്ങിക്കോളാൻ '. തട്ടിപ്പ് എന്നത് കേരളത്തിന് സമ്മാനിച്ച നീയാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ കോൺഗ്രസ്സിന്റെ അക്കൗണ്ട് വിവരങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത് എന്നോർക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് വിഷമം എന്ന് കെ എം ഷാജി പറയുമ്പോൾ നിനക്കിതൊക്കെ നിഷേധിക്കാനാകുമോ എന്നാണ് അവരുടെ ചോദ്യം .
തളർന്നുകിടന്ന അച്ഛന്റെ വിരലുകൊണ്ട് ഒപ്പുവെച്ച് സ്വത്ത് തട്ടിയെടുത്തയാൾക്ക് ഈ ലോകത്ത് എന്ത് വൃത്തികേടും ചെയ്യാം !!
ഭരണമാറ്റത്തിൽ പേടിയുണ്ടാകാം , അതിന്റെ വിറളി മാത്രമാണ് ഇതൊക്കെ എന്നാണ് അവരും പറയുന്നത്. അച്ഛൻ ബോധമില്ലാതെ കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ അച്ഛന്റെ വിരലുകൊണ്ട് ഒപ്പിട്ടുകൊണ്ട് വസ്തുക്കൾ അടിച്ചുമാറ്റിയത് സ്വന്തം ചേട്ടൻ പറഞ്ഞത് ഓർക്കുന്നു . സ്വന്തം ജീവിതത്തിലും തുടങ്ങിയ സ്ഥാപനത്തിലും ഗതി പിടിക്കാത്ത ഒരാൾ ഈ സർക്കാരിനെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ സർക്കാർ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നാണക്കേടിലേക്ക് കൂപ്പുകുത്തുകയാണ് . എന്തൊക്കെ ഒച്ചവെച്ചാലും മലയാളി വോട്ട് ചെയുവാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു . ഈ ദുർഭരണത്തിനെതിരെ അവർ വോട്ടു ചെയ്യും . നീ ഇങ്ങനെ തൊണ്ട കീറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും എന്ന് പ്രതിപക്ഷം !!
