നിയമത്തിന് മുകളിലോ എകെജി സെന്റർ?
കേരളത്തിലെ ഭരണകക്ഷിയുടെ സിരാകേന്ദ്രമായ എകെജി സെന്റർ ഇന്ന് വലിയൊരു നിയമക്കുരുക്കിലാണ്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ വിലപിടിപ്പുള്ള സർക്കാർ ഭൂമി കൈയേറിയാണ് ഈ കെട്ടിടം നിർമ്മിച്ചതെന്ന ആരോപണം ശക്തമാണ്. ഈ ഭൂമിക്ക് കൃത്യമായ ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശ രേഖകളില്ല എന്ന വസ്തുത പുറത്തുവരുമ്പോൾ, സാധാരണക്കാരന് പട്ടയമില്ലാത്തതിന്റെ പേരിൽ നടപടിയെടുക്കുന്ന സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഇരട്ടത്താപ്പാണ് വെളിവാകുന്നത്.
കോടതിയുടെ ഇടപെടലും രേഖകളുടെ അഭാവവും
എകെജി സെന്റർ നിൽക്കുന്ന ഭൂമിയുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ രേഖകൾ ഹാജരാക്കാൻ ഹൈക്കോടതി ഉത്തരവിട്ടത് പാർട്ടിയെ പ്രതിരോധത്തിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടിക്ക് സ്വന്തം ആസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ക്രയവിക്രയ രേഖകൾ കാണിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തത് അത് കൈയേറ്റ ഭൂമിയാണെന്ന വാദത്തിന് ബലം നൽകുന്നു. നിയമം എല്ലാവർക്കും ബാധകമാണെന്നിരിക്കെ, പാർട്ടി കോടതിക്ക് മുകളിലാണെന്ന ധാർഷ്ട്യത്തിനാണ് ഇവിടെ തിരിച്ചടി ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
പ്രൊപ്പഗണ്ടയുടെ നിർമ്മാണശാല
നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി കൈവശം വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ മണ്ണിലിരുന്നാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ ജനാധിപത്യത്തെ അട്ടിമറിക്കാനുള്ള ഗൂഢാലോചനകൾ നടക്കുന്നത്. സർക്കാരിനെതിരെയുള്ള ഓരോ ജനകീയ സമരത്തെയും അടിച്ചമർത്താനും, പ്രതിപക്ഷ ശബ്ദങ്ങളെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാനും ആവശ്യമായ വ്യാജ പ്രചാരണങ്ങൾ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത് ഈ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ്. ജനങ്ങളുടെ നികുതിപ്പണത്തിൽ നിന്നും കൈക്കലാക്കിയ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഇരുന്ന് ജനങ്ങളെ വഞ്ചിക്കുന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയമാണ് സി.പി.എം കാഴ്ചവെക്കുന്നത്.
കോടതിവിധികളിൽ ഞെട്ടുന്ന ഭരണകൂടം
ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ അവസ്ഥയിൽ സി.പി.എം തൊടുന്നതും സി.പി.എമ്മിനെ തൊടുന്നതും എല്ലാം കോടതിവിധികളിൽ പെട്ട് ഞെട്ടുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് കേരളം കാണുന്നത്. എകെജി സെന്ററിന്റെ സഹോദര സ്ഥാപനമായ റിപ്പോർട്ടർ ചാനലിന് ലൈസൻസില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഹൈക്കോടതി കണ്ടെത്തുകയും കമ്പനിയുടെ സകല രേഖകളും ഹാജരാക്കാൻ ഉത്തരവിടുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇതിനു പുറമെ, എകെജി സെന്ററിന്റെ കൊട്ടാര വിദൂഷകനായ വെള്ളാപ്പള്ളി നടേശൻ മൂന്നു കൊല്ലമായി എസ്എൻഡിപിയുടെ കണക്കുകൾ കാണിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ കമ്പനി രജിസ്ട്രാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്ഥാനഭ്രഷ്ടനാക്കി.
ലൈസൻസ് വിവാദവും മാധ്യമ വേട്ടയും
റിപ്പോർട്ടർ ചാനലിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന് ആവശ്യമായ ലൈസൻസുകൾ സംബന്ധിച്ച് കോടതി ഉന്നയിച്ച ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ഗൗരവകരമാണ്. കൃത്യമായ ടിവി ലൈസൻസ് പോലുമില്ലാതെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് ഒരു ചാനൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത് എന്നത് ദുരൂഹമാണ്. ഭരണസ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഏത് നിയമവിരുദ്ധ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെയും വെള്ളപൂശാൻ സാധിക്കുമെന്ന സി.പി.എം അഹങ്കാരത്തിനുള്ള മറുപടിയാണ് കോടതിയുടെ ഈ കർശന നിലപാട്.
ശബരിമല വിധിയും ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്റെ നെഞ്ചിടിപ്പും
മാസങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് ശബരിമലയിലെ സ്വർണ്ണം കവർന്ന കേസിൽ ഒട്ടനവധി നേതാക്കളെ ജയിലിലടച്ചിരുന്നു. ശബരിമല കേസിൽ സംശയത്തിന്റെ നിഴലിലുള്ള മുൻ ദേവസ്വം മന്ത്രിയും ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ മന്ത്രിയും ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റും എംഎൽഎയും ഒക്കെ ഇപ്പോൾ കോടതി വിധിക്ക് മുന്നിൽ ക്യുവിലാണ്. ഏപ്രിൽ ഒമ്പതിന് മുൻപ് തന്നെ ആ വിധി വരണമെന്ന ഭക്തരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഉറക്കം കെടുത്തുന്നു. തെറ്റായ വഴിയിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ഭരണകൂടത്തിന് കോടതികൾ നൽകുന്ന ഈ തുടർച്ചയായ പ്രഹരങ്ങൾ നീതിയുടെ വിജയമാണ്.

Is the AKG Centre Above the Law?
The AKG Centre, the nerve center of the ruling party in Kerala, is under a dark cloud of suspicion. Allegations are rife that this building was constructed by encroaching upon prime government land in Thiruvananthapuram. As facts emerge that there are no proper ownership documents for this land, the hypocrisy of a government that penalizes common citizens for lacking land titles stands exposed.
2. Court Intervention and Missing Documents
The High Court’s order to produce the original documents of the land where the AKG Centre stands has pushed the party into a corner. The inability of a political party to show the transaction records for its own headquarters strengthens the argument that it is encroached land. In a system where the law applies to everyone, this is a major blow to the arrogance that the party is above the judiciary.
The Propaganda Factory
It is from this illegally occupied soil that conspiracies to subvert democracy in Kerala are hatched. This center serves as the forge for creating propaganda aimed at suppressing public protests against the government and silencing opposition voices. The CPM is practicing a brand of politics that deceives the public while sitting on land seized from taxpayers.
A Government Shaken by Court Verdicts
In the current state of affairs, everything the CPM touches—and everything that touches the CPM—is reeling from court verdicts. The High Court found that Reporter TV, described as a sister concern of the AKG Centre, lacked a proper license and ordered the submission of all company documents. Furthermore, Vellappally Natesan, often mocked as the "palace jester" of the AKG Centre, was ousted by the Registrar of Companies for failing to show SNDP's accounts for three years.
The License Controversy and Media Manipulation
The questions raised by the court regarding the operational licenses of Reporter TV are grave. It is mysterious how a channel operated for so long without a valid TV license. The court's stern stance is a direct answer to the CPM’s hubris that any illegal activity can be whitewashed using administrative influence.
The Sabarimala Verdict and the Government’s Anxiety
A few months ago, several leaders were arrested and jailed for the theft of gold at Sabarimala. Now, the former Devaswom Minister, the current Minister, the Devaswom Board President, and the local MLA—all under a shadow of doubt in the Sabarimala case—are waiting in a queue for the court's judgment. The prayers of devotees that the verdict should arrive before April 9th are causing sleepless nights for the government. These successive blows from the courts against a government traveling the wrong path are a victory for justice.
