കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ:

അധികാരത്തിന്റെ പടവുകളിൽ നിന്നും വനവാസത്തിന്റെ നിഴലിലേക്ക്

കേരള രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലും ഇന്ത്യൻ ദേശീയ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലും ഒരുപോലെ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന പേരാണ് കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ. ഡൽഹിയിൽ ഹൈക്കമാൻഡിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തനായി നിലകൊള്ളുമ്പോഴും സ്വന്തം തട്ടകമായ കേരളത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്ന ജനരോഷവും പാർട്ടിക്കുള്ളിലെ ആഭ്യന്തര അസ്വസ്ഥതകളും ഇന്ന് ചെറുതായി കാണാൻ കഴിയാത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യങ്ങളായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

യു.ഡി.എഫ് വിജയത്തേക്കാൾ കൂടുതൽ ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നത് അടുത്ത മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ആരാകുമെന്ന ചോദ്യമാണ്. ആ ചർച്ചയുടെ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ പേര് വരുമ്പോൾ അത് ഒരു വ്യക്തിയുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ആഗ്രഹം മാത്രമല്ല; വർഷങ്ങളായി പുകഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കോൺഗ്രസിലെ ആഭ്യന്തര കലഹങ്ങളുടെയും അടിത്തട്ടിലെ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ അസ്വസ്ഥതയുടെയും പ്രതിഫലനമാണ്.

വി.ഡി. സതീശൻ മുൻപ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച “വനവാസം” എന്ന പ്രയോഗം ഇന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രീയമായി കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ ദിശയിലേക്കാണ് തിരിഞ്ഞുനിൽക്കുന്നതെന്ന് വിമർശകർ പറയുന്നു. അധികാരത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന പടവുകളിൽ എത്തിയിട്ടും ജനമനസ്സുകളിൽ ഇടം നേടാൻ കഴിയാതെ പോയാൽ, ആ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതം തന്നെ ഒരു വനവാസമായി മാറും എന്ന സന്ദേശമാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നത്.

കരുണാകരന്റെ തണലിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഉയർച്ചയും തിരുത്തൽവാദിയുടെ മുഖവും

കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ വളർച്ചയുടെ തുടക്കം പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ കെ. കരുണാകരൻ എന്ന അതികായന്റെ തണലിൽ നിന്നാണ് ആ യാത്ര ആരംഭിച്ചതെന്ന് കാണാം. എന്നാൽ തന്നെ കൈപിടിച്ചുയർത്തിയ ലീഡറിനെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് കുത്തി “തിരുത്തൽവാദി” ചമഞ്ഞതാണ് കെ.സി.യുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ കറുത്ത അധ്യായമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിമർശിക്കുന്നവർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നു.

സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിൽ ജനപിന്തുണ ഉറപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിയാതെ ആലപ്പുഴയിലേക്ക് തട്ടകം മാറ്റിയ അദ്ദേഹം, അവിടെ നേതാക്കളുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ ചുവടുറപ്പിച്ചു. തുടക്കകാലത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആ പ്രസരിപ്പും സുന്ദരമുഖവും ഇന്ന് അധികാരമോഹത്തിന്റെയും കുതന്ത്രങ്ങളുടെയും നിഴലിൽ മങ്ങിയുപോയെന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രീയ എതിരാളികൾ പറയുന്നു.

പ്രായം കൂടുന്തോറും കെ. കരുണാകരനെപ്പോലെയോ ഇ.കെ. നായനാരെപ്പോലെയോ ജനമനസ്സുകളിൽ സ്നേഹം വളർത്തിയെടുക്കേണ്ടിടത്ത്, കെ.സി.യുടെ മുഖം ഒരു “പലിശക്കാരന്റെ” ഗൗരവമുള്ള മുഖമായി മാറിയെന്ന പരിഹാസമാണ് ഇന്ന് പാർട്ടി വൃത്തങ്ങളിൽ പോലും കേൾക്കുന്നത്.

കുഴൽനാടൻ–ലിജു അച്ചുതണ്ടും പിആർ രാഷ്ട്രീയവും

കേരളത്തിൽ കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത് ജനസമ്മതിയുടെ ബലത്തിലല്ല, മറിച്ച് ചില നേതാക്കളുടെയും പണം വാങ്ങി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളുടെയും മാധ്യമ സൗഹൃദങ്ങളുടെയും സംരക്ഷണത്തിലാണെന്ന ആരോപണം ശക്തമാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ ചാനൽ അവതാരകരും പണം കെ സി യിൽ നിന്നും പണം പറ്റാത്ത ഓരോരോ മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകനും വളരെ ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി തന്നെ വി ഡി ക്കൊപ്പവും , വി ഡി യെ അനുകൂലിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പവുമാണ് .

എം. ലിജുവിനെപ്പോലുള്ള നേതാക്കൾ കെ.സി.യുടെ നിഴലായി മാറുന്നത് അധികാര സമവാക്യങ്ങൾ ഉറപ്പിക്കാനാണെന്നാണ് വിമർശനം. കായംകുളത്ത് പരാജയപ്പെട്ട് നിൽക്കുന്ന ലിജുവിനെപ്പോലുള്ളവർ കെ.സി.യുടെ ചുറ്റും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കേരളത്തിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നീക്കങ്ങൾക്ക് പിന്നിലെ സംഘാടന മുഖമാണെന്ന് പലരും കാണുന്നു. കേരളത്തിൽ ആരൊക്കെ മന്ത്രിമാരായാലും ആ ലിജുവിനെപ്പോലുള്ളവനെ യൊക്കെ മന്ത്രിയാക്കരുത് എന്നതാണ് പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിന്റെ അഭ്യർത്ഥന

അതുപോലെ മാത്യു കുഴൽനാടന്റെ പിന്തുണയും കെ.സി.യുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തെ സംശയനിഴലിലാക്കുന്ന ഘടകമായി വിമർശകർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നു. ഹൈക്കമാൻഡ് സ്വാധീനം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ബിസിനസ്-രാഷ്ട്രീയ താൽപര്യങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ പിന്തുണ കെ.സി.യുടെ ചുറ്റും രൂപപ്പെടുന്നത് സാധാരണ കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകർക്കിടയിൽ വലിയ അസ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.

ഇവർക്ക് പുറമെ സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയിൽ പണം വാങ്ങി “വെളുപ്പിക്കൽ” നടത്തുന്ന സൈബർ വിങ്ങുകളും മാധ്യമ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും കെ.സി.യുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പതനം ആസന്നമാണെന്ന യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം മറച്ചുവെക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണെന്ന വിമർശനവും ശക്തമാണ്. എന്നാൽ പിആർ രാഷ്ട്രീയം കൊണ്ട് ജനഹൃദയം പിടിച്ചെടുക്കാനാകില്ലെന്നതാണ് കെ.സി.യുടെ ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രതിസന്ധി തെളിയിക്കുന്നത്.

രാഹുൽ അനുകരണവും പാളിപ്പോയ ലാൻഡിംഗ് ഗിയറും

കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന് പറ്റിയ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ അമളികളിൽ ഒന്നായി വിമർശകർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നത് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധിയെ അനുകരിക്കാൻ നടത്തിയ ശ്രമങ്ങളാണ്. രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി സാധാരണക്കാർക്കിടയിൽ ഇരുന്ന് പഴംപൊരി കഴിക്കുമ്പോഴും ജനങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴും അത് ജനങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വാഭാവികതയും സത്യസന്ധതയും കൊണ്ടാണ്.

എന്നാൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കാലത്ത് തൊഴിലുറപ്പ് തൊഴിലാളികൾക്കൊപ്പം ഇരുന്ന് കപ്പ കഴിച്ച കെ.സി.യുടെ നടപടി ജനങ്ങൾ രാഷ്ട്രീയ നാടകമായി കണ്ടുവെന്നാണ് വിമർശനം. സാധാരണക്കാരനായി വേഷമിടുന്നതും സാധാരണക്കാരനായി ജീവിക്കുന്നതും തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം ജനങ്ങൾ തിരിച്ചറിയുമെന്നതാണ് ഇവിടെ കെ.സി. മറന്നുപോയത്.

കേരള രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലേക്ക് പാരച്യൂട്ടിൽ ഇറങ്ങാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച കെ.സി.യുടെ “ലാൻഡിംഗ് ഗിയർ” തകർന്നു വീഴുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് ഇന്ന് കാണുന്നതെന്ന് എതിരാളികൾ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു. ഡൽഹിയിലെ സ്വാധീനം കേരളത്തിലെ ജനവികാരത്തെ മറികടക്കുമെന്ന കണക്കുകൂട്ടലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് തിരിച്ചടിയായി മാറിയത്.

ജനരോഷവും വനവാസ പ്രവചനവും

വി.ഡി. സതീശൻ മുൻപ് പറഞ്ഞ “വനവാസം” ഇന്ന് കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതത്തോട് ചേർന്ന് വായിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് കാലത്തിന്റെ കാവ്യനീതിയാണെന്ന് പലരും കരുതുന്നു. അധികാരത്തിന്റെ ഉന്നതിയിൽ നിന്നാലും ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ വിശ്വാസം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാൽ ഒരു നേതാവിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഭാവി ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും.

പണം വാങ്ങി ഏറാൻമൂളികളായി നിൽക്കുന്ന ചില യുവനേതാക്കളും മാധ്യമ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും സൈബർ സംഘങ്ങളും കെ.സി.യ്ക്ക് ചുറ്റും വലയം തീർക്കുമ്പോഴും താഴെത്തട്ടിലുള്ള സാധാരണ കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകർക്കിടയിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുള്ള അസ്വസ്ഥത വർധിച്ചുവരികയാണ്. പിണറായി വിജയനോടോ അമിത് ഷായോടോ ഉള്ളതിനേക്കാൾ വലിയ വെറുപ്പ് സ്വന്തം പാർട്ടിക്കാർക്ക് കെ.സി.യോട് തോന്നുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ശൈലി എത്രത്തോളം വ്രണപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാം.

ഇത് ഒരു വ്യക്തിയോടുള്ള വിരോധം മാത്രമല്ല. കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ ആത്മാഭിമാനത്തോട് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിഷയമാണ്. തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ പണിയെടുത്തവരുടെ വികാരത്തെ മറികടന്ന്, ഡൽഹിയിലെ ചരടുവലികളിലൂടെ അധികാരത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്നുകയറാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനെതിരായ പ്രതിഷേധമാണ് ഇന്ന് രൂപംകൊള്ളുന്നത്. സാധാരണ ജയ് വിളിക്കുന്നവരോ പോസ്റ്റോട്ടിക്കുന്നവരോ മാത്രമല്ല, സമൂഹത്തിലെ ഡോക്ടർമാർ , റിട്ടയേർഡ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ , വനിതകൾ , കച്ചവടക്കാർ തുടങ്ങി ന്യായം നീതി ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഓരോരുത്തരും വിഡിക്കൊപ്പമാണ് . വി ഡി യിപ്പോൾ ഒരു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെക്കാൾ ഉന്നതിയിലാണ് .

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി തർക്കവും ഘടകകക്ഷികളുടെ നിലപാടും

നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പദത്തിനായി നടക്കുന്ന തർക്കത്തിൽ കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന് അനുകൂലമായി ഒരു വിഭാഗം എം.എൽ.എമാർ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, അത് പാർട്ടിയുടെ സ്വാഭാവിക ജനവികാരത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നാണ് വിമർശനം.

മുസ്ലീം ലീഗ് ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഘടകകക്ഷികൾ വി.ഡി. സതീശന്റെയും രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തലയുടെയും പക്ഷത്താണെന്ന സൂചനകൾ കെ.സി.യുടെ നീക്കങ്ങൾക്ക് വലിയ തടസ്സമാണ്. യു.ഡി.എഫിന്റെ വിജയം ജനങ്ങൾ നൽകിയ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഫലമാണെങ്കിൽ, ആ വിശ്വാസത്തെ മറികടന്ന് അധികാര കസേര പിടിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത് മുന്നണിയുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ആരോഗ്യത്തിന് തന്നെ അപകടകരമാണ്.

വി.ഡി. സതീശൻ പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവായി കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ നടത്തിയ പോരാട്ടവും, രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തലയുടെ ഭരണപരിചയവും, കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ ഡൽഹി സ്വാധീനത്തെക്കാൾ കേരളത്തിലെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ പ്രസക്തമാണെന്ന് കാണുന്നവരാണ് മുന്നണിക്കുള്ളിൽ കൂടുതലെന്ന വിലയിരുത്തലുമുണ്ട്.

ദേശീയതലത്തിലെ അസ്വസ്ഥതയും ഡൽഹിയിലെ പ്രതിരോധവും

കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ അപ്രമാദിത്വത്തിൽ ദേശീയ തലത്തിലും അസ്വസ്ഥതയുണ്ടെന്ന അഭിപ്രായം കോൺഗ്രസ് വൃത്തങ്ങളിൽ കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഡി.കെ. ശിവകുമാറിനെപ്പോലെയുള്ള കരുത്തരായ നേതാക്കളും ജയറാം രമേശിനെപ്പോലെയുള്ള ബുദ്ധിജീവികളും കെ.സി.യുടെ അധികാര കേന്ദ്രീകരണത്തിൽ സന്തുഷ്ടരല്ലെന്നാണ് വിമർശകർ പറയുന്നത്.

“നമുക്കു നാമേ പണിവതു നാകം, നരകവുമതുപോലെ” എന്ന വരികൾ ഇന്ന് കെ.സി.യുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതത്തിൽ അന്വർത്ഥമാകുന്നുവെന്ന് പറയാം. സ്വന്തം കൈകൊണ്ട് പണിത അധികാര സാമ്രാജ്യം തന്നെ ഒരുദിവസം സ്വന്തം രാഷ്ട്രീയ വനവാസത്തിന്റെ വാതിലായി മാറുമെന്നതാണ് ഈ ഘട്ടം സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.

ഡൽഹിയിൽ ഹൈക്കമാൻഡിനോട് അടുപ്പം പുലർത്തുന്നത് ഒരു നേതാവിന് കരുത്താകാം. പക്ഷേ അതേ സമയം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ വിശ്വാസം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, ആ ഡൽഹി കരുത്ത് തന്നെ ജനാധിപത്യ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ ഭാരമായി മാറും. കെ.സി. ഇന്ന് നേരിടുന്നത് അതേ പ്രതിസന്ധിയാണ്.

കരുണാകരന്റെ ശാപവും രാഷ്ട്രീയ കാവ്യനീതിയും

കെ. കരുണാകരനെപ്പോലുള്ള മഹാരഥനെ പിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് കുത്തി വളർന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിന് ഇന്ന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന തിരിച്ചടി അതിന്റെ തുടർച്ചയാണെന്ന് കരുതുന്നവർ കോൺഗ്രസിനകത്തും പുറത്തും ഏറെയാണ്. ലീഡറുടെ തണലിൽ വളർന്ന ഒരാൾ, പിന്നീട് ലീഡറുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാരമ്പര്യത്തെയും വിശ്വാസത്തെയും തകർത്തുവെന്ന ആരോപണം കെ.സി.യുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ രാഷ്ട്രീയ മുറിവായി തുടരുന്നു.

ഒരു നേതാവിന്റെ വളർച്ചയുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ അളവുകോൽ പദവികളല്ല, ജനങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിൽ അദ്ദേഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന സ്നേഹവും ബഹുമാനവുമാണ്. ആ അളവുകോലിൽ കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ ഇന്ന് വലിയ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലാണ്. അധികാര പടവുകൾ കയറുമ്പോൾ കൂടെയുള്ളവരെ വെട്ടിനിരത്തുന്ന ശൈലി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വലിയ ശത്രുക്കളെയാണ് സമ്മാനിച്ചത്.

അവസാനത്തെ കച്ചിത്തുരുമ്പ്

ജനപിന്തുണയില്ലാതെ ഡൽഹിയിലിരുന്ന് ചരടുവലികൾ നടത്തുന്ന കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുകയോ, കുറഞ്ഞത് അധികാരഗർവ് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് ജനങ്ങളോട് നേരിട്ട് സംസാരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യേണ്ട ഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് ഇന്ന്. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വരുംകാലങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു “ഏഴാം കൂലി”യായി ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ പരിഹസിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടിവരുമെന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പാണ് രാഷ്ട്രീയ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ നൽകുന്നത്.

ഒരാൾ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായാലും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായാലും ജനമനസ്സുകളിൽ ഇടമില്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ അധികാരജീവിതം ഒരു വനവാസത്തിന് തുല്യമാണ്. കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലിന്റെ മുന്നിലുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ചോദ്യം ഇതാണ്: അധികാരത്തിന്റെ കസേരയിലിരിക്കണോ, അതോ ജനങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിൽ സ്ഥാനം നേടണോ?

നമ്മുക്ക് നാമേ പണിവത് നാകം നരകവുമതുപോലെ

കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ എന്ന രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരൻ ഇന്ന് നിർണായക വഴിത്തിരിവിലാണ്. ഹൈക്കമാൻഡ് സ്വാധീനവും പിആർ സംഘങ്ങളും സൈബർ വെളുപ്പിക്കൽ ടീമുകളും മാധ്യമ സൗഹൃദങ്ങളും താൽക്കാലികമായി ഒരു നേതാവിനെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചേക്കാം. പക്ഷേ ജനവികാരത്തിന്റെ കോടതിയിൽ അവയ്ക്ക് വലിയ ആയുസില്ല.
