താങ്കളെ എല്ലാവർക്കും വളരെ ബഹുമാനവും ഇഷ്ടവുമായിരുന്നു. അത് ഡൽഹിയുമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ കിട്ടിയതായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ താങ്കൾ കേരളവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുവാൻ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അതെല്ലാം വെള്ളത്തിൽ വരച്ച വര പോലെ ആകുന്നതായി അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടു. കാരണം കെ സി എന്ന നേതാവിനെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായി സ്വീകരിക്കുവാൻ ഒരൊറ്റ കോൺഗ്രസുകാരനും തയ്യാറാവുന്നില്ല എന്നതാണ്.

സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി നിർണ്ണയത്തിലെ പാളിച്ചകളും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട വിജയസാധ്യതകളും

ഇത്തവണത്തെ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി പട്ടികയിൽ അനർഹമായ ഒട്ടേറെ പേരെ തിരുകികയറ്റിയില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ പയ്യന്നൂരിലെ വിജയം കണക്കിൽ എടുത്താൽ 115 സീറ്റുകൾ വരെ യുഡിഎഫിന് ലഭിക്കാമായിരുന്നു. കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് അനുകൂല മണ്ഡലങ്ങൾ ആയ കുന്നംകുളവും, വടക്കാഞ്ചേരിയും, മണലൂരും, ഒല്ലൂരും, അരുവിക്കരയും, വർക്കലയും, അതുപോലെ കുറെയധികം മണ്ഡലങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത് അനാവശ്യ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥികൾ മൂലം മാത്രമാണ്.

പുതുക്കാട് എന്ന സിപിഎം കുത്തക മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ 27853 വോട്ടുകളെ 2853 വോട്ടുകളാക്കി കുറയ്ക്കുവാൻ അവിടത്തെ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥിക്ക് സാധിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവിടെയൊന്നും ഒരു ദേശീയനേതാവോ സംസ്ഥാന നേതാവോ തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. ധർമ്മടം മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ വെറുതെയെങ്കിലും ആ രാഹുൽഗാന്ധിയോ പ്രിയങ്കഗാന്ധിയോ എത്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ പിണറായി വിജയൻ നിയമസഭാ കാണില്ലായിരുന്നു. അതുപോലെ മട്ടന്നൂർ പോലത്തെ ഒട്ടേറെ മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ നേതാക്കൾ എത്തിയിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു.

തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വിജയത്തിന് പിന്നിലെ യഥാർത്ഥ ശക്തികൾ

ഇപ്പോൾ രമേശ് ചെന്നിത്തല വീരവാദം മുഴക്കുന്നത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ മുഖ്യ പോരാളി അദ്ദേഹമായിരുന്നുവെന്നാണ്. അങ്ങനയെങ്കിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ധർമ്മടം, മട്ടന്നൂർ, പുതുക്കാട് പോലുള്ള മണ്ഡലങ്ങളെ അവഗണിച്ചു എന്നാണ് അണികൾ ചോദിക്കുന്നത്. കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ വമ്പൻ വിജയങ്ങൾക്ക് പിന്നിൽ ഷാഫി പറമ്പിലും, അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് പ്രവീൺകുമാറും ചേർന്നുള്ള അച്ചുതണ്ട് ആയിരുന്നു. ഒപ്പം വി ഡി സതീശനോടുള്ള വിശ്വാസവും ലീഗിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടിലിറങ്ങിയുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും കൂടിയായപ്പോഴാണ് അവിടെയൊക്കെ തൂത്തുവാരിയത് എന്ന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അറിയാം.

An Open Letter to K.C. Venugopal and His Supporters: The Ground Reality of Kerala Politics

There are a few private matters to discuss with K.C. Venugopal and those who support him. First and foremost, you were once widely respected and liked by everyone. That reputation was built during your tenure in Delhi. However, ever since you started involving yourself in Kerala’s internal politics, that respect seems to be fading like lines drawn on water. The reality is that not a single grassroots Congress worker is ready to accept K.C. as the Chief Minister of Kerala. It’s not just the Congress; not a single ally in the United Democratic Front (UDF) accepts your leadership for the top post. If anyone claims that the majority of MLAs are with K.C., the workers are asking one simple question: "How will these same MLAs manage to win the next election?"

Disconnect in Delhi and the Priyanka Gandhi Factor

Reports from Delhi suggest that Priyanka Gandhi hasn't even spoken to K.C. Venugopal after the elections in Punjab, Haryana, and Bihar. It is said that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were at odds for months over this. Priyanka Gandhi has a unique talent for reading people, whereas Rahul Gandhi tends to trust everyone blindly. Priyanka had expressed her concerns regarding this to Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi. This is how K.C. Venugopal gradually "infiltrated" back into Kerala. In the CPM stronghold of Puthukkad, the candidate managed to bring down the LDF majority from 27,853 votes to a mere 2,853. Yet, no national or state leader bothered to visit such places. Had Rahul or Priyanka Gandhi visited Dharmadam even once, Pinarayi Vijayan might not have seen the inside of the Legislative Assembly. Similarly, leaders failed to turn up in several key constituencies like Mattannur.

The True Architects of Victory

Now, Ramesh Chennithala is boasting that he was the primary warrior of this election. If so, the workers ask why he ignored constituencies like Dharmadam, Mattannur, and Puthukkad. Everyone knows that the massive victories in Kozhikode were the result of the axis formed by Shafi Parambil and Adv. Praveen Kumar, combined with the trust in V.D. Satheesan and the grassroots efforts of the IUML. In Kodungallur, where the LDF previously had a lead of 23,893 votes, O.J. Janeesh managed to win because of the presence of Rahul Gandhi, Shafi Parambil, Chandy Oommen, and Sreenadevi Kunjamma. Even Unniyadan in Irinjalakuda benefited from this momentum. We must also not ignore how Prathapan refused to let go of Manalur, despite promises to bring Azharuddin to Konathukunnu.

A Warning to the MLAs

We see a narrative being built that the MLAs are standing united with K.C. Venugopal. K.C. is over 62 years old; he has won multiple times, served as a State Minister, Union Minister, and MP, and has amassed significant wealth. Do these MLAs want their political future to end with this election? If they have time, they should watch videos of P.C. George—who once won independently—being hooted at in front of his own house by the very people who elected him. These MLAs would do well to study the current plight of leaders like P.C. Thomas, P.C. Chacko (once a heavyweight in Delhi), and K.V. Thomas (once Sonia Gandhi’s confidant).

Power Hunger and Social Discontent

This isn't like the old Karunakaran-Antony group games. This looks like the desperate last-ditch efforts of a power-hungry individual. These are the same tactics that failed in Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. Knowing this, a wise Priyanka Gandhi has distanced herself from K.C. Venugopal. K.C. might become the Chief Minister of Kerala through sheer muscle power and maneuvering, but one must wait and see what happens at the swearing-in ceremony. It’s not just the workers who paste posters; even prominent figures like Ravi Pillai, Yusuff Ali, Joy Alukkas, and various writers and film personalities are reportedly dissatisfied with K.C.’s stance.

If Congress MLAs blindly support K.C. for the CM post without understanding this or respecting the will of the people, the consequences will be severe.
