Siddique have understood that despite achieving such a massive victory, the MLAs haven't been able to hold a proper celebration or convention. A certain section has realized that if V.D. Satheesan becomes Chief Minister, many of their cases and past "games" are likely to be dug up; it is this group that is now arguing for K.C. to be the CM. The KC camp has only now realized that those writing letters to Rahul Gandhi and commenting on social media are not just youngsters, but even 70-year-old mothers. Senior leaders have largely understood that K.C. Venugopal is "scratching his head with a flaming brand." The AICC should not have called people like M.M. Hassan to seek an opinion; they are living in a dream world.

They agree that K.C. is currently in a state where his landing gear has completely failed. K.C. could have entered Kerala in a straightforward manner if he wanted to. But the truth is that neither K.C. nor the "fools" acting as his advisors have the sense for that. If he had a little bit of sense, K.C. would not have faced such a pathetic situation.

If K.C. becomes the Chief Minister here by force out of sheer stubbornness, it will put his own political future at stake. In Karnataka, D.K. Shivakumar remained a gentleman and didn't oppose the AICC because he realized the BJP was thirsting for his blood. As far as V.D. is concerned, he fears neither the BJP nor the ED. It is the single power called "the people" that protects V.D.’s pride. When honest Communists and members of other parties who voted for the UDF stand sincerely with V.D., neither Rahul Gandhi nor any other power can take a contrary decision. No one here is against the Congress, but they are against these spineless decisions.

When Priyanka Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Kharge take a strong stand in favor of V.D., Rahul Gandhi cannot afford to ignore it. Within the AICC, Jairam Ramesh and Sachin Pilot are opposed not just to this issue, but to all the positions K.C. has taken recently. As for the Muslim League, they cannot ignore the decisions of their strong grassroots workers. It was a group of fools who gave K.C. the delusion that he could govern even if they all left, provided he had 102 seats.
