ഡൽഹിയിലെ ചതിക്കുഴികളും വി.ഡി. സതീശനെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയും

പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾ ഒരാഴ്ച കൊണ്ട് കെട്ടടങ്ങുമെന്നാണ് കെ.സിയും കൂട്ടരും കരുതുന്നതെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തെറ്റി. ഇത് യുപിയോ ബീഹാറോ അല്ല. രാഷ്ട്രീയ ബോധമുള്ള കേരളത്തിൽ ഇത്തരം മുറിവുകൾ ഉണങ്ങാൻ വർഷങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടിവരും. അനാവശ്യമായ ഉപദേശങ്ങൾ കേട്ട് കെ.സി. കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് വണ്ടി കയറേണ്ടതില്ല. പണിയെടുത്തവന് കൂലി നൽകുക എന്നതാണ് നീതി. അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം, എം.എൽ.എമാർക്ക് സ്വന്തം വീടുകളിൽ പോലും സമാധാനമായി ഉറങ്ങാൻ കഴിയാത്ത സാഹചര്യം സംജാതമാകും.

പണവെറിയന്മാരും ഏറാന്മൂളികളും: കെ.സിക്ക് പിന്നിലെ അവിശുദ്ധ കൂട്ടുകെട്ട്

കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാൽ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായി വരണമെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരു നല്ല വ്യക്തി പോലും കേരളത്തിലില്ല എന്നതാണ് യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം. പണവെറി പിടിച്ച ചില രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരും, കെ.സിയുടെ പണം പറ്റി സുഖിക്കുന്ന ചില അലവലാതി കൂലിയെഴുത്തുകാരും, സ്വയം അന്തസ്സ് പണയപ്പെടുത്തിയ ചില ഏറാന്മൂളികളായ ആരാധകരും മാത്രമാണ് ഈ നീക്കത്തിന് പിന്നിലുള്ളത്. രാഷ്ട്രീയ മര്യാദയോ ജനങ്ങളോട് പ്രതിബദ്ധതയോ ഉള്ള ആരും ഈ ആത്മഹത്യാപരമായ നീക്കത്തെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കില്ല.

നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കേരളത്തിലെ എം.എൽ.എമാരോട് ഒറ്റയ്ക്കൊറ്റയ്ക്ക് അഭിപ്രായം ചോദിച്ചാൽ, കൂറുമാറാൻ തയ്യാറായ മൂന്നോ നാലോ പേരൊഴികെ മറ്റാരും കെ.സിയെ അനുകൂലിക്കില്ല എന്നത് പകൽപോലെ വ്യക്തമാണ്. പാർട്ടിയുടെ ആദർശങ്ങളെക്കാൾ ഉപരിയായി പണക്കൊഴുപ്പിനെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു നീങ്ങുന്ന ഇക്കൂട്ടർ കേരളത്തിലെ കോൺഗ്രസിന്റെ കുഴിതോണ്ടുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.

The recent move to summon VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala (RC) to Delhi is seen by the people of Kerala as nothing more than another tactical ploy by KC Venugopal to douse the flames of public anger. The state is only momentarily calm because of the hope that VD Satheesan will be named Chief Minister. If KC attempts to sneak into the CM's chair through backchannel maneuvers during this gap, it would be best for him to keep his flight schedule a secret. The young MLAs who have surrendered their spine, intimidated by the "winks" and dictates of Deepa Das Munshi, are committing a historical blunder. Shafi must realize that if he continues to intervene in matters that betray the public's trust, he will soon face the same fate as Mathew and Abhijith. If the MLAs were polled individually and privately, barring three or four individuals, no one would support KC in the current climate.

If KC and his circle believe that this resentment will die down in a week, they are gravely mistaken. This is Kerala, not Uttar Pradesh or Bihar. In a politically conscious state like this, such wounds take years to heal. KC Venugopal should not board a vehicle to Kerala based on the advice of self-serving lobbyists.
